Cooperating Scientific Societies
The Institute recognizes that many scientific societies with interests in acoustics and/or vibration exist in different countries. It is the purpose of the Institute to supplement their activities and to cooperate with them for the good of scientists and engineers throughout the world. To that end, existing scientific societies will be encouraged to become affiliated with the Institute as cooperating member societies.
